quiet enuff

Not much doing today. A 20 minute look at the sea this morning produced 2 late manx shearwaters, plus a black redstart nearby. Still no wildfowl of note on the lake.

Bad news for our japanese reader this morning as velvet scoter at Aghada (Irish tick), water pipit at Ballycotton (Cork tick) and 2 (count 'em) tree sparrows at Knockadoon (Cork tick) all fell. It just had to be done!

A fine coot graced Kilkeran Lake with its presence this morning, only my 3rd at Galley. Quiet otherwise.
